A podcast is a type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of audio radio, video, PDF, or ePub files subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device. The word is a neologism derived from "broadcast" and "pod" from the success of the iPod, as podcasts are often listened to on portable media players. In the context of Apple devices, the term "Podcasts" refers to the audio and video version of podcasts, whereas the textual version of podcasts are classified under the app known as Newsstand.

       Good morning ^^ อรุณสวัสดิ์เช้าวันพุธวันแรกของการเรียนในปี2013 ค่ะ วันนี้ม.ยังร้างอยู่เลย เพื่อนๆก็มากันน้อยมาก เขาใจว่าเป็นclassแรกของปีเลยมีคนมาเรียนแค่สิบกว่าคน ฮ่าๆ อาจารย์จึงสอนเรื่อง การใช้ทวิตเตอร์ในการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ วันนี้ฉันก็เพื่องจะรู้ว่า Twitter นอกจากจะใช้ติดตามข่าวดารา การเคลื่อนไหวและการอัพเดทของดารา หรือคนที่เราแอบชอบที่ฉันเคยเข้าไปดูๆแล้วเนี่ย ยังสามารถนำมาใช้ในการเรียนการสอนได้ด้วย

 ก่อนอื่นเรามาทำความรู้จักกับ Twitter กันก่อนนะคะซึ่งหลายๆคนอาจจะรู้จักกันดีอยู่แล้ว

Twitter คืออะไร ?

Twitter.com เป็นบริการส่งข้อความเป็นประโยคสั้นๆ ที่คุณส่งไปนั้นจะเป็นการบอกว่า คุณ กำลังทำอะไรอยู่? ในตอนนั้น เพื่อเป็นบันทึก ณ. ช่วงเวลานั้นว่าคุณทำอะไรอยู่ ลงไปในเว็บไซต์ของ Twitter.com เช่น "กำลังจะกินข้าว" "กำลังจะออกจากบ้าน" เป็นต้น และเมื่อคุณส่งประโยคสั้นๆ ไปเรื่อยๆ ในช่วงเวลาที่คุณมีเวลา และสามารถทำได้ เมื่อกลับมาอ่านมัน ข้อความทั้งหมด มันจะก็จะสามารถประติดประต่อ บอกเรื่องราวว่าคุณทำอะไรไปบ้างช่วงวันหนึ่งๆ ซึ่งจะสะดวกกว่าการ มานั่งหลังคดหลังแข็งมานั่งเขียนบล็อก ทั้งวัน นี้แหละที่ Twitter.com เลยเข้ามาทดแทนและช่วยให้คนไม่ชอบเขียน บล็อก หันมาใช้บริการพวกนี้เยอะมากขึ้น   แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่มาช่วยให้ Twitter มีประโยชน์ และสนุกมากขึ้น ก็คือ คุณสามารถติดตาม (Follow) คนอื่นๆ ที่เค้าเขียนข้อความลงไปใน Twitter ของเค้าได้ ว่าเค้าคนนั้นกำลังทำอะไรอยู่ โดยเมื่อคุณ ติดตาม (Follow) เค้าแล้ว เมื่อคนนั้นเค้าทำอะไรและพิมพ์อะไรลงไปใน Twitter คุณก็ได้รับข้อความเหล่านั้นด้วยไปพร้อมๆ กัน และก็สามารถติดตามได้ทีละหลายๆ คน ซึ่งก็จะทำให้คุณทราบว่าเค้าเหล่านั้นกำลังทำอะไรอยู่ในขณะนั้นทันที จะเห็นว่า Twitter ก็เริ่มกลายเป็นเครื่องมือในการกระจายข้อมูล (Broadcast) ของคนๆ หนึ่ง ไปยังคนหลายๆ คนได้ง่ายๆ ผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต และที่สำคัญคือ คุณสามารถส่งข้อความเข้า Twitter ผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือได้ง่ายๆ ผ่าน SMS หรือ WAP โดยเข้าไปที่ http://m.twitter.com ดังนั้นไม่ว่าคุณอยู่ไหนก็ตาม ที่คุณมีโทรศัพท์มือถือ คุณก็สามารถส่งข้อความเข้า Twitter ได้ง่ายๆ

      ทีนี้ เมื่อมีเพื่อนๆ ของคุณ หรือคนที่คุณรู้จัก แล้วเค้าเหล่านั้นใช้บริการ Twitter คุณก็สามารถรับรู้ได้ทันทีว่าเพื่อนของคุณหรือ คนที่คุณอยากติดตาม เค้ากำลังทำอะไรอยู่ ณ. ตอนนั้น

มาเข้าเรื่องที่อาจารย์สอนกันเลยดีกว่านะคะ

       เราสามารถเอาTwitter มาใช้สอนReading เช่น สอนทักษะการอ่านอยู่ในห้องแล้วให้นักเรียน log in ในทวิตเตอร์ของตนเอง แล้วให้เด็กfollowครู ครูโพสต์ตั้งคำถามแล้วให้เด็กตอบ เด็กอ่อนหน่อยจะสามารถตอบช้าได้ นอกจากนี้ครูอาจจะสอนให้ใช้Twitter เพื่อติดตามข่าวของหน่วยงานข่าวต่างๆ ครูกำหนดให้เด็กไปติดตามสำนักข่าว ให้เด็กไปอ่านข่าวแล้วสรุปสั้นๆมาใส่ในTwitterของตนเอง ครุกำหนดให้เด็กไปติดตามสำนักข่าว เด็กต้องfollowครู ครูต้องfollowเด็ก ครูจะได้เช็คด้วยเด็กจะได้ดูของเพื่อน

       การสอน Writing  ให้เด็กตั้งหัวข้อเรื่องเป็นประเด็นปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นตั้งเป็นคำถามในtwitterของตนเอง แล้วให้นักเรียนแต่ละคนลองคิดดูว่าสามารถทำอะไรต่อไปกับคำถามได้บ้าง ทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นการทำoutlineต่อในการเขียน ซึ่งเพื่อนที่เห็นหัวข้อที่นักเรียนคนนั้นๆได้ทวิตก็อาจจะให้ไปลองแนะนำหัวข้อที่ควรจะเขียน แล้วนักเรียนคนนั้นก็อาจจะไปแนะนำในทวิตของคนอื่นที่เราเห็นหัวข้อ เพื่อเป็นตัวช่วยนักเรียนในการทำoutline ของเรื่องที่จะเขียน เอาจากประเด็นที่เพื่อนให้มาแล้วมาเขียนเป็นเรื่อง
       เขียนแบบchainหรือ ลูกโซ่  แล้วเอามาให้เด็กอ่านแล้วต่อเป็นเรื่องให้สมบูรณ์ ครูและนักเรียนช่วยกันตัดทอนประโยคให้ถูกต้อง กระชับ และสมบูรณ์ยิ่งขึ้น
นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถใช้ฝึกประเด็นทางไวยากรณ์ได้ด้วย เช่น ให้เด็กแต่งประโยคแล้วเอามาใส่ในtwitter

       twitterสอดคล้องกับทฤษฎีactive laerning เด็กได้ใช้twitterแล้วเกิดปฏิสัมพันธ์ขึ้นมา ซึ่งช่วยในเรื่องของการเรียน ครูก็สามารถวิเคราะห์ได้เลยว่านักเรียนคนไหนยังมีปัญหาอะไรบ้าง ครูสามารถสะท้อนประเด็นปัญหาได้ นอกจากนี้ครูรวบรวมคำตอบของเด็กแล้วมาช่วยกันแก้ไขให้ถูกต้อง นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นการทบทวนและสอนเด็กไปในตัวว่าเราทำอะไรแล้วไม่ใช่แค่ทำครั้งเดียว แต่ต้องเอามาedit ด้วย
       เนื่องจากคำพูดที่จะใช้โพสต์ในtwitterถูกจำกัดด้วยจำนวนตัวอักษร ดังนั้นเด็กจะต้องกลั่นกรองเอาคำตอบที่อยากตอบจริงๆ เอาแต่เนื้อๆ ซึ่งเป็นการสอนให้เด็กใช้การคิดแบบมีวิจารณญาณ

       New Year is the time at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count is incremented. In many cultures, the event is celebrated in some manner.The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January, as was the case with the Roman calendar. There are numerous calendars that remain in regional use that calculate the New Year differently.

       The order of months in the Roman calendar was January to December since King Numa Pompilius in about 700 BC, according to Plutarch and Macrobius. According to Catholic tradition, 1 January is the day of the circumcision of Jesus (on the eighth day from his birth), when the name of Jesus was given to him (Luke 2:21).

       It was only relatively recently that 1 January again became the first day of the year in Western culture. Until 1751 in England and Wales (and all British dominions) the new year started on 25 March – Lady Day, one of the four quarter days (the change to 1 January took place in 1600 in Scotland). Since then, 1 January has been the first day of the year. During the Middle Ages several other days were variously taken as the beginning of the calendar year (1 March, 25 March, Easter, 1 September, 25 December).In many countries, such as the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and the UK, 1 January is a national holiday.

       With the expansion of Western culture to many other places in the world during recent centuries, the Gregorian calendar has been adopted by many other countries as the official calendar, and the 1 January date of New Year has become global, even in countries with their own New Year celebrations on other days (such as Israel, China and India). In the culture of Latin America there are a variety of traditions and superstitions surrounding these dates as omens for the coming year. The most common modern dates of celebration are listed below, ordered and grouped by their appearance relative to the conventional Western calendar.
